Tourist Organisation of Prijedor Municipality was founded pursuant to Decision on Foundation of Municipal Assembly of Prijedor – decision that was rendered on 29 June 2005 and was based on the project to establish the Tourist Organisation– the project that was prepared by the Municipal Department for Industry and Social Affairs. 

 

In accordance with the aforementioned project the activities of the Tourist Organisation are aimed at promoting and enhancing development of municipal tourism. The Tourist Organisation of Prijedor Municipality was
officially registered on 29 March 2006 at the Basic Court Banja Luka registry, and officially open on 31 March 2006.
