The Hotel “Prijedor” is located at the very bank of the River Sana nearby all city institutions. The Hotel “Prijedor” is undoubtedly the largest hotel in the region (in its capacity and size) and is one of the first hotel premises built in the city – apart from the Hotel “Balkan”.

Hotel “Prijedor” was open in 1985 and up until 2001 it used to be state owned. Nowadays, the Hotel “Prijedor” is a stock company. It has 111 beds – 7 suites, 74 two-bed rooms, and 30 single rooms. The hotel has been awarded three stars for quality. Each room has a phone and a bathroom, and each suite has a phone, a dining room, a bathroom and a separate additional toilette. It is worth mentioning that the Hotel “Prijedor has a very good prerequisite to do quite well - business wise - yet inadequate organization and ambition, and lack of skilled personnel have led to a poor unenviable situation. Having in mind its accessibility and location the Hotel “Prijedor” would be perfect solution for business people, and for purposes of organization and facilitation of many conferences and seminars.

The hotel has a closed-covered entrance; main hall is large with a reception desk divided into two parts – the reception of guests part (right) and the souvenirs-greeting cards & brochures- shop part (left). Currently the hotel ‘survives’ on organizing various seminars, conferences, exhibitions and other entertaining and cultural events. There is an aperitif bar; a coffee bar and a restaurant open for the purposes aforementioned including large 500 seats party/anniversary ballroom, 200 seats restaurant room, 100 seats business room, and two banquet room (30 seats each).  There are also few open-for-public premises in the hotel such as solarium, sauna & massage room, and internet café. The hotel also has at the ground floor premises newly open shopping mall (1000 m²), a fitness club and a gym, and two hair dressing saloons (for ladies and gentlemen). The hotel has its own parking space (50 parking lots).

In years prior to the war, 160 employees used to work in the hotel, and nowadays there are only 50 employees.
