PROMOTION OF A TOURIST OFFER OF KOZARA MOUNTAIN
Project location – National Park ‘KOZARA’ – Information Centre

Projects Aims:
- Establishment of the Information Centre at the National Park ‘KOZARA’ (presentation of a tourist offer of the National Park, Kozara Mountain, sub mountain municipalities)
- Set up of new tourist products (eco-tourism, ethno-tourism, gastro-tourism etc)
- Popularization of tourism development in the area of Kozara Mountain and its sub mountain municipalities
Expected Results:
- Newly arisen acknowledgement and attitude of National Park employees, of local population, and of local and republic authorities
- Improved qualitative attitude of public towards the National Park ‘KOZARA’ as inevitable outcome of the implementation of such project
- Newly developed attitude towards natural and cultural-historical heritage
- Development of a tourist infrastructure
- Action on landscaping roads and forest pathways
- Improved cooperation with NGOs in surrounding area: mountaineering clubs, hiking associations, and scouts associations, etc
- Educating students and teachers of elementary schools in the field of ecology
- Increased number of visitors
- Creating habit of visiting the Park
- Using domestic products in tourism – souvenirs and home made village products
- Establishing level of recognition of the National Park “KOZARA” brand
- Establishing a visual identity of the National Park “KOZARA”, Kozara Mountain and its sub mountain area
- Development of a tourism sector in the REGION

CONSTRUCTION OF A LAPIDARIUM
Project location – Prijedor Municipality – Museum Kozara
Project Aims:
- Development of a tourism sector in the area of Municipality - cultural & historical heritage
- Improving infrastructure for tourism development
- Development and empowerment of a tourist product
- Development and empowerment of a tourist offer
Expected results:
- Tourists’ higher attendance rate at the museum and city centre
- Development and empowerment of cultural-historical heritage in a capacity of a tourist offer
- Development and empowerment of outdoor school classes “open classroom”
- Possibility of employment in the aforementioned field

DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY OF TOURISM OF KOZARA MOUNTAIN
Project location – Kozara Mountain
Project Aims:
- Development of tourism sector in the sub mountain areas
- Creating conditions for employment in the Municipalities of Prijedor, Kozarska Dubica, Gradiska, Banja Luka, Novi Grad, Kostajnica, Laktasi, Srbac, and Prnjavor
- Strengthening infrastructure for development of tourism
Expected results:
- Increased investment in creation of an overall tourist offer for target groups (national and international tourists of different age – children, students, adults, elderly citizens, scouts, adventurers, sport professionals, recreational groups, collectors of nature’s fruits etc)
- Implementation of strategic aims and projects
- Easy access to funds for development of tourism

CONSTRUCTION OF THE MAIN ROAD ‘MRAKOVICA - VODICE - MONASTERY MOSTANICA’
Project location – Prijedor Municipality & Kozarska Dubica Municipality – Kozara Mountain
Project Aims:
- Development of a tourism sector in the area of Kozara Mountain and its sub mountain area
- Creating prerequisites for advertising new job positions thus advancing employment in the Municipalities of Prijedor, Kozarska Dubica, and other sub mountain municipalities
- Improving infrastructure for further development of tourism
- Development and improvement of a tourist product
- Development and improvement of a tourist offer
Expected results:
1. Increased accommodation capacity
2. Increased number of visiting tourists
3. Decrease of local population migration – development of village tourism
4. Accessible roads, better and advanced quality of fire safety policy - forest protection
5. Better maintenance of forestry lumber camps
6. Better, shorter and easier access to tourists coming from Republic of Croatia and the region
7. Opening new job positions (orientation classes held in natural environment, catering services, sports & recreational centres, etc.)
8. Creating conditions for further improvement of Kozara tourist offer

2. Improving infrastructure for development of tourism
3. Development and improvement of a tourist product
4. Development and improvement of a tourist offer (contribution to eradicating “a bottle neck” as offered by “Eco-Centre Ljekarice”)
